Behaviour change takes time and commitment to see progress. We strongly recommend packages over single sessions as single sessions do not offer opportunity for the follow-up, troubleshooting and ongoing support necessary to be successful, long-term.

This isn't your average dog walking service. A professional trainer comes to your home and works with them based on their interests, needs and family priorities. Depending on the dog, the visit may entail:​

A neighbourhood walk, including training

Play and mental enrichment at home

Training at home

This service is designed for dogs who would benefit from a trainer coming to work with them hands-on, or those who may not benefit from a traditional dog walk.

All visits include bathroom breaks, treats and food/oral meds as needed. You will receive a report card for your pet after each visit.

Please note before booking:
These services are currently only available between 5:30-7:00pm, Monday-Thursday and between 9-5pm on Sunday. Due to the specialized nature of our services, we accept a limited number of clients at a time.

If your dog is nervous and/or aggressive toward strangers, please email us at info@treatyourselfdogs.ca for more information before booking your meet and greet.

We do not walk dogs on aversive equipment such as prong, choke, ecollars, or slip leads. Dogs should have a well-fitted harness or flat/cloth martingale collar for walks. A safety clip may also be added as an additional precaution.

Cancellation Policy
I understand that conflicts may arise that result in you needing to cancel or reschedule your session. To provide us with time to fill your spot, we ask that you please cancel/reschedule no later than 48 hours prior to your session for a full refund. Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds for sessions cancelled within 48 hours of your appointment time.
